What Have I Done On The Issues?
- Worked with MD State Leader Douglas JJ Peters and Prince George’s County Council Member for District 4 Ingrid M. Turner, Esq. to get their support in granting money to build a new Concession Stand at Church Road Park.
- Worked with SBBGC to keep in the City 2011 -2012 budget additional parking spaces at Church Road Park.
- Secured first City of Bowie traffic circle for Collington Station as a traffic calming measure.
- Secured Speed Humps for Tall Oaks Crossing and secured stripping of street lines on Pin Oak Parkway for traffic calming and traffic safety.
- Supported and worked with Former Councilwoman Geraldine V. Smith as Co-sponsors to get speed flashing traffic calming monitors.
- Worked with Collington Manor to secure landscaping Improvements after Jenkins Ridge Road closure.
- Improved line of sight at Mt. Oak Road and Peach Walker Drive with side walk extension on Peach Walker Drive.
- Creator of the Senior Summit.
- Continuing to work with Prince George’s County Chair Ingrid M. Turner, Esq. to keep the South Bowie Library project moving forward.
- Active member of Bowie CERT “Citizens Emergency Response Team
